The American 7s Football League’s continued growth was showcased this week as ESPN and other major sports media outlets, including Overtime and Jukes, featured an amazing Kason Campbell highlight from A7FL’s Elite Eight playoffs.
The video yielded historical numbers and recognition as over 11 million users across Instagram, and Tik Tok witnessed one of the best highlights of the year in football.
This highlight from the contentious Trenton BIC and Vegas Force 2022 playoff matchup was released last week on the A7FL Instagram page and currently is sitting at over 3.3 million views as Kason Campbell’s intense 3-on-1 throw-off return for a touchdown soon became viral across the sports world.
WAVE Media’s JUKES channel, who solely focuses on great football highlights, shared the video on their Instagram and TikTok Channels, where over two million more users watched and interacted with Campbell’s iconic touchdown.
Overtime, a highlight aggregator with over 1.3 million Twitter followers, would pick up the highlight on August 31st, with tens of thousands of views and engagements, along with ex-NFL players Will Blackmon and George Foster engaging and sharing the highlight, where Campbell would defeat three defenders to score on the A7FL’s solution to kickoffs.
ESPN’s SportsCenter Instagram account would release the highlight on their page on Monday, and as of Thursday, the highlight has been witnessed over 6.6 million times.
The WorldWide Leader in Sports would then air the highlight on their GET UP!program, airing across the United States multiple times, giving an even larger audience the chance to see why the A7FL is the future of football.
